Reuma Angel  (born Haglili), was born in Tel-Aviv, Israel. Her love to the arts, to painting, pottery
and sculpture has already started at young age. She has learned several fields of arts, including History
of Arts studies at the Tel-Aviv University. Since her childhood, she was exposed to beautiful fine porcelain
and items that were exposed and used plentifully at her home, particularly china brought by the family
from Buchakrah, Iran, Afghanistan and Russia.

In 1982, she moved in 1983 to Rockville, Maryland, near Washington D.C., were she was exposed anew
to pottery and ceramics. Her biggest exposure and the beginning of her long ”romance” with Painting on
Porcelain has started following the move of the family to France, where she lived for 12 years. Reuma has
studied several years under the direction of the well known artist Nin  Arnaud, at Rungis, near Paris. In
Israel, she subsequently continued her voyage of discovery with several potters and ceramics.

She employs the French method for painting on fine porcelain, imported from Limoges (France), Bavaria
(Germany) or Royal Copenhagen (Denmark), utilizing XVIIIth century methods for the preparation of
pigments, paint and firing at very high temperatures.

Each and everyone of her works is a unique  piece of Art, fully hand painted and without copies, utilizing
several pigments and minerals, including gold and silver powders.
